Urban Chaos Riot Response is a lot to take in. This game will have you playing as Nick Mason, a T-Zero operative which is a new police force that is authorized to kill at will. Not much of a spoiler since the game tells you this several times. This game was released in for only the PS2 and the original Xbox, despite the Xbox had been out for a year at this point. The game becomes very repetitive as well and the story is spoon-fed to you through live-action cut scenes which are both strange and a poor choice in design.

This is the clunkiest of all the clunky shooters from the PS2 and Xbox generation. It makes aiming a pain in the butt, and moving makes you feel like a slower version of the original Doom. Overall the game feels pretty bad. However, they did a great job on how you select your weapons. Weapons are divided by categories and then you cycle through your weapons with ease. For example, if you press the button twice it will instantly go to the second weapon of that category, instead of having to watch each one come onto your screen and then be put away until you finally get to the weapon you want.

This does help keep the game moving and keeps you from being killed while busy trying to select a weapon. That can be a common problem for older versions of , Medal of Honor , and Call of Duty games. This game has a simple RPG system where you complete challenges and earn rewards, such as upgrading your damage or getting new upgrades for your guns. This will force you to use certain weapons which at times will discourage you from using a weapon better suited for your current combat situation.

Next, the game scales the difficulty well with the upgrades you get so the game never gets too easy. This game has its issues, but if you enjoy over the top violence with lots of blood splatter and explosions, this game just might be for you.

I wouldn\’t recommend buying this game but I can see playing it occasionally on the FunPass. It\’s too bad because it sounded like such an intriguing concept but the experiment failed.

I really don\’t see where this game is any fun. All the other farm games I have played are times better than this. Example: Farm Mania. I downloaded this game and played about an hour of it and unistalled it. Its so repetitive. So in summary, the ideas could have been really good, but clearer explanations and instructions on the unfamiliar aspects of the game would have made it better.

I am not finding this to be a short game as someone mentioned in a review. The book shows your time and I\’m at 5 hours and not even half way through to getting to the total number of mini games the book shows as available. It is a change not having lists to find the HO\’s. Tricky though when you find something in a corner of a screen that you need but had perused with yor mouse to see the hand.

Hints works great and I don\’t usually need to use them. To avoid going into overly stumped frustration I have used 3 so far and there is no penalty.
