“Office (bit or bit) couldn’t be installed” error when trying to install

 
I was able to install I thought the office disc and thought all was well. Uninstall Office for Mac. We are are same facing this issue in Dell optlix desktop so please help. I have been having issues with my Microsoft Office professional plus – everytime I open any program, it becomes unresponsive and crashes. I figured I had messed something up, so I went to uninstall the program and reinstall it, however I am unable to uninstall office.

This was the closest so far – I was able to get the installation running again, but then the installation froze and crashed. When I tried to run it again it said \”another installation is already in process , and Running in Safe Mode , along with some other things. So far there is no luck. Sorry this didn\’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Since installation getting stuck, uninstall Office by running Fix it from the article given in the previous post then s tart the computer in a Clean boot state and try to reinstall Office.

I understand that normally it would be done through my account at office. You may have some difficulty determining which Office is installed on which computer. The person who installed them should have noted the Product Key associated with each Office and computer when they installed them. That is your actual product key for that Office , note it is not the same key used to install your Office Was this reply helpful?
